Prehistoric American Indian Artifacts For Sale
Guaranteed Authentic Arrowheads
Collections bought and sold
Welcome to Authentic Arrowheads.com. Right now, we're featuring the following prehistoric American Indian arrowheads and relics for sale, bought directly from the finders, an old-time collector couple in Newton County, Arkansas, home of the "bluff dwellers."

This is very rugged country in the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas. Many of the bluffs were used as hunting camps over the ages, and in them we see both distinct and unique local cultures such as the people who made Calf Creek, Searcy and Johnson points, as well as outside groups like the Dalton people from further east and the Scottsbluff people from the west. Points are made from a wide variety of high quality materials and most all are Paleo or Archaic in age.

These are some of the most collectible relics and prehistoric tools in the US due to their rarity. They are found in an extremely limited area, practically all shelters have already been excavated by collectors or archaeologists, and laws have halted most any further collecting.  There won't be too many more found.

Group 1 (above):
Jackie Stemmed. 1 1/2". The real Early Archaic atl-atl point deal. $30
Adena Robbins. 2 1/8". Just super edge flaking. $20
Dalton Breckenridge. 2 1/4". Twisted, serrated, looks like it's flat in the pic but it's actually very beveled.
Corner Tang. 2 3/4". Rare form for this area. $40
Gary. 2 1/8". Super Novaculite material.

Group 2:
Unknown / Base Tang. 1 3/8". Really no clue on how to type this one. The base isn't snapped but actually looks fluted; it was made this way and really well, too. If not miniature base tang then possibly new type.  $35
Big Sandy. 1 3/4". A little thick but no dings and very cool banded material. $25
Marshall. Thin, fine, G9++, black pitken chert. $45
Big Sandy. 1 9/16". Fine, high quality workmanship and material. If you are interested, I'll try to get a pic that captures the flaking. $35
Calf Creek Knife / Perforator. 1 7/16". Crazy rare. $75

Group 3:

Top Row:
Hell Gap End Scraper. 3". Seen a lot of tools, never seen anything like this. $100
Dalton Adze. 3". St. Louis Green chert. Heavy cave deposits on bottom. $35

Center:

Crescent Knife.
4 3/4". Made on long single flake. Paleo or very early Archaic form. $55

Bottom Row:
Chisel. 3 1/2". Super blue/black banded chert. Nice bit. $40
Center:
Ovoid Knife. 2 5/8". Thumb rest in center. $20

Group 4:
Hell Gap. 2 1/4". Black pitken chert late paleo / early archaic artifacts with fine veins that have filled with patina. $60
Searcy. 2 3/16". You can see how closely related to Dalton arrowheads these are. Quality classic example with nice edgework and beveling. $40
Searcy. 2 1/4".  This form is often seen. It is an intermediate knife form on the way to being a blunt. Excellent example, fine workmanship, extreme beveling, super Reed's Springs chert.  $40
Searcy. 2 1/4". Another Searcy classic, this time in white. $35
Searcy Blunt. 1 3/4". These things are so cool. $25
Make an offer on the 4 Searcy points and fill that gap in your collection.

Group 5:
Jackie Stemmed.
1 3/4".  A novaculite point that would be totally translucent except for light cave patina on about half the back side. Very cool. $30
Jackie Stemmed. 1 1/2". Small, but G10 quality. $35
Dalton Hemphill. 2 1/4". Solid G9 quality. $40
Big Sandy. 1 7/8". Not a flute but a hinge fracture from coming out of the haft. $10.
White River Archaic. 2 1/2". Sturdy point. $20

Trade Pipe: Info needed. This came from the same collection. Several pottery collectors have confirmed it is authentic, but no one knows enough about pipes to say anything more. If you can help identify it, please let me know.

Please check out more artifacts, including bone, a Clovis preform, some "Texas" points and a rare Early Ovoid knife on Page 2.
